It is February and for Baha’is around the world that means looking forward to the celebration of Ayyám-i-Há at the end of the month! Ayyám-i-Há is a time of hospitality, charity, gift giving, and fun! When I was growing up it was always one of my favorite times of the year. I remember putting up some decorations (the types and styles of decorations changed year by year), baking cookies (and gingerbread houses!), making gifts for my siblings and friends, going to community parties, and of course opening the presents from our parents!
This year my sister, Jemia (she has an art blog here) put together a fun treasury on etsy featuring great Baha’i shops! Click on each photo to go to that shop.
My shop is offering an Ayyám-i-Há special, use coupon code AYYAMIHA20 at checkout to save 20% on all paper quilled jewelry and hair clips! Even valid on the clearance items! There is still time to order for Ayyám-i-Há. Orders from here in Malaysia usually take 1-2 weeks to get anywhere in the world, but they COULD take 3-4 weeks. So I can’t guarantee delivery, but it will mostly likely still be on time.
Be sure to check out all of the shops below! Some of my favorites are the ceramic pendants from A Tiny Seed and the stamped metal necklaces from MnLFarm.
